I just walked down to the water and it looks like 2 stacks. Hard to tell if the 3rd stack is running.

Met Rick (Shutterbuff) and Adrian (Yak Fin Addict) on the water cheers at Martin on my way back from Marshall (I like being early but fair wasn't until March 8th. and NOT Feb 8th. bang) Got bogus information from usually accurate sister. rolfmao I wasn't too disappointed as I whipped around and headed for the lake, dressed for success. On the water around 1 p.m. It was SLOW. Managed to get 5, mostly smaller fish, all but one on spinner bait. Got one good one. Fished till dark. Headed for Palestine and white bass tomorrow.

How was the white bite? Fished the dam area on Palestine today real slow, but the birds were having a field day on shad.

Just got in, Zero white bass, saw one caught all day. I tried for an hour and gave up. Hardly any in the hole near the railroad bridge. Saw two small groups of maybe 50 fish each and they kept moving around. Find them, drop marker, make a few casts or drop jig straight on top, nothing. Went looking for largemouths, nothing. Water 43 degrees in most areas. Went exploring and picture taking. Report later.

I get fired up over predator birds hunting...and in my observation, it always turns out to be a good day of fishing; however, whatever the lake gives, fun, camaraderie or just being outdoors - what a blessing.
