I carry a gun sometimes...as I'm loading the chambers,I think about what I need to do if I'm forced to draw it. Level the sites and FIRE.I'm glad it worked out for your brother, hope the guy he let go doesn't hold a grudge.

Your brother did a good job and did things just right. Couple of years ago I loaded the back of a car going out my drive with 00 buck. I learned 2 things if it ever should happen again aim about a foot or 2 highet and don't touch both barrels off at the same time with 3" mag in 18 " barrels. But the way your brother layed the gun down and raised his hands is the way the LEOs like it.

now wait a minute. If this guys a known thief/crankhead/scumbag and was actually arrested dont protect him, whats his name? and/or decription? It may help others in the are that have been ripped off. Where this occured is right near the rains/wood county line, was it a wood or rains county leo that made the arrest? Always been a lot of burglaries in the whole region.

Great news, hopefully it will give the rest of them low lifes in your area something to think about. That guy knows he's lucky to be alive, if it was another owner he might not be around to serve the time. You can bet that dude has sacked his share of bass boats too.

Turned out the guy has a pretty long record for theft and drug convictions. Sheriff said the guy would be a long time getting out this time.
