Monti and Squaw are probably the two best power plant lakes to fish in Texas. I dunno. I look forward to the tourney times on Pirkey. If you aint got a 25lb sack then you know more than likely your donating for the day. I guess if you know the lake well... My bass club has had some of our toughest days on Pirkey in the last five years. I used to catch a lot more fish out there than I do now. I think it getting hammered by so many tournments when Martin Creek is closed hasn't helped. But maybe we just don't know how to catch 'em.

well we will be doing the day after turkey day ! 10 per person youngsrtr free.. so fill free bring those boys and girls .we pay 1 place for under 1 place for a over ...
Will be cooking those Hot dog's agin... I got the dogg's and the cooker.. so tell me what u will bring ...Lets have some fun like we did last year ...! i'll bring bags of chips.

Ken is just pulling your leg.He is one of the most experianced guys I know on that lake and Fork. and he only fishes in 3 spots on Monti  1. Ken's Corner... 2. Ken's Creek... 3. Ken's Hump... That's all I need.... are you even aware that the lake has lily pads in the backs of blundell and smith creeks? thats how i learned the lake. it depends who im fishing with if we hit north or go weightless/d-shot in those 3 places...

monti is full, welsh is the lowest ive ever seen. cool rockpile exposed for the second time i know of. He probly has got the one he wants but we no better ! Squrecreek is a big hipe .And takeing a chance to get inn not worth the drive .

I know of at least one over that'll be brought in today.  Too bad I'm at work  Here it is. Nice fishy Syd. I hear it's the only over brought in today?  Your arms will get tired quick holding the fish out like that. Get off my spot
