the giants at monti have already been caught, check the kontry korner wall of shame... squaw creek is where its at now. Really, I hate to hear that. The drive to Squaw Creek is too far for me. Flex, since this guy says we can't catch anymore big fish I might not be there the day after thanksgiving. I might just sell the boat now.

Can't wait to see the Winter Monti fish this year! You guys sure put a whoopin' on em' last year in the Winter. Monti and Squaw are probably the two best power plant lakes to fish in Texas.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Thanks for the report! Taking off Friday and was thinking about going to Fork, but with the cold front coming in, you may have just changed my mind to go give Monticello a visit! Back was aching last weekend so much I didn't fish, and now I'm aching for some therapy!

I'll just break it down real quick for everyone so you know.
If you want to catch lot's of fish = Welsh If you want your average size fish to be 2-3lbs = Squaw If you want the chance of catching 7-9lb fish = Monti
