Got on the lake around 10pm and within the first hour I had most of my large fish for the evening. My buddy Ron also caught a 5lber and then they shut down. I caught 3 more dinks then this morning before the sun came up all the way Ron lost a decent one and so did my other buddy Chris (who unfortunantly zeroed), I manged the last one in the series. It wasn't an all night pig fest but I'm happy with what I got!

Oh yeah...and it was COLD and visibility after midnight was near ZERO

Yes they are, I honestly didn't really pay attention to the water temp, but It was in the mid to upper 70's on the southern end and 80's in some of the areas we fished north of the bridge.

I saw one stack smoking and I heard the water at the outlet.

Congrats on some nice fish. I have not fished Monticello after dark in a long time but I remember back in the good old days it was awesome ! Lake still has lots of good fish in it.
