I also don't think you can eat too much meat, many people get gout from meat because they aren't consuming enough healthy fats, which is essential in your body breaking down protein.

As far as I know, I don’t know any any vegans, if I did I’m pretty sure they would have told me-
I was wondering though, when it’s time to mow the lawn does it make their mouth water?
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Never met a vegan that wasn't a brilliant, courageous healthy and morally upstanding person. You haven't met many then...

Never met a vegan that wasn't a brilliant, courageous healthy and morally upstanding person. Healthy is key. No doubt it is healthier than what us meat eaters consume. I like my vegetables and sometimes think I could be a vegan. Then I see the piece of meat on the rest of the plate and there goes that moment of sensibility out the window. Your body needs one essential protein that can only be found in red meat. I buy grass fed beef only or we eat venison. There is a misconception that vegans are healthy. Maybe compared to people who eat processed foods and the like but they are missing essential proteins. guy reads one book on diets and healthy eating and he's now a nutritionist.

only vegan I've every met was a 13 year old kid on a jr high mission trip. After we finished each day we stopped at DQ or braums. He thought it was the coolest thing ever when they turned the blizzard over before giving it to you. Poor kid didn't even have a option, his mother was vegan and made him become one when he was about 4. If I remember correctly his dad was on a normal diet.

Maybe compared to people who eat processed foods and the like but they are missing essential proteins. We stick to as much venison as we can too. To clarify and I do not want to assume this was your point but there are essential amino acids that come from consuming red meat. There are 22 essential amino acids with our bodies producing 13. That leaves 9 that have to come from your daily nutritional intake or supplements to maintain a healthy body. ONLY animal proteins contain all 9. All 22 aminos build the proteins that produce healthy red blood cells, muscle, and boost immunity. I love fruits and vegetables but if I don't get protein from multiple sources every day I get cranky and bad headaches. The CDC recommends 56g/day or protein for men and 46g/day for women or 10-35% of your daily caloric intake.
