Ugh why are the steaks white? Learn from the pro  Steaks tossed on a 600 degree charcoal fire with mesquite chunks. 30-45 seconds per side, after the flip add some garlic butter and leave for 30-45 seconds. Ready to serve a nice rare steak. If I'm on my gas grill I run it to 900-1000 and toss in for 15-20 seconds per side If you're going to call yourself a pro, you damn sure better post something that looks better than that.

I can't help what other people buy. I would've gone for a bone in ribeye, but that's what the wife bought  2nuts knows I won't cook for anybody else unless they bring their own steak, I can't be responsible for [censored] meat. And my steaks will melt in your mouth and can be cut with a fork.

This is how it's done son!  I don't take pics of the inside. Once it hits the table I'm too busy eating. Mine is usually much more red, I really like black & blue but since I don't age my steak I don't cook it like that.

Med rare to rare is my favorite as well! Cooked much passed that pic is not optimal at all. That's not cooked. It's flame kissed. Mad Cow disease comes to mind. You know blood poured out of in the middle.  Beer can chicken?
