Get you some grill grates to put on top of your present grates... heat to 550 degrees then 3 to 3 1/2 minutes on each side. Done! You will like the flavor the grates provide!

Ugh why are the steaks white?

Learn from the pro


Steaks tossed on a 600 degree charcoal fire with mesquite chunks. 30-45 seconds per side, after the flip add some garlic butter and leave for 30-45 seconds. Ready to serve a nice rare steak. If I'm on my gas grill I run it to 900-1000 and toss in for 15-20 seconds per side
