Re: Who’s working today?

I worked almost every Christmas Eve for the 31 years I was as in the grocery business. Holidays were stressful and not enjoyable. In 2006 I went to work in O&G manufacturing. Lots more time off on all holidays. Peace at last.

Water pressure problem
COFF
Scratching my head on this one. Water pressure has dropped in my shower. No other sinks or faucets are affected, just the one shower. My first thought was corrosion build up in the shower head, but when I removed the shower head there is still a very low flow coming out of the pipe.
If there is a shutoff valve for this shower line, then I don't know where it is. House built in 2016 with PEX water lines, if that makes a difference.
Any clues to what is going on here, and how to fix?

We have laws to prevent abuse. Laws that were created to address the situation.
So far, I've read that violence is called for. Using a dog to attack them.
You're dealing with a fellow human being. So like it or not. You can't do what you want to. People do what they want everyday.

I watched a movie yesterday with John Travolta playing a retarded movie star fan. I hate John Travolta but he did a really good job. I wanna watch it again. It's a newer movie.
I can't remember the Stupid name. The Wolf of Carl Street…..Travolta plays the part of Carl Ramsey.

I like Dry Rub Ribs that I have to chew the meat of the bone with Spicy sauce on the side. My best ever was Dreamland in Tuscaloosa AL.

On a positive note….traffic was almost nonexistent. Come to Burleson...I swear the last two days the idiots have multiplied by the 100's. The trick is to avoid an area with a Walmart.

both alabama and georgia have some really good bbq.... Alabama is the country’s absolute WORST “bbq” followed closely by Florida and Georgia. only a yankee would make an uniformed smart azz comment like that....(however I don't recall ever eating at or hearing about a good BBQ place in Florida)...

Just my opinion, it wasn’t all that many years ago East Texas didn’t really have good BBQ. And the good ones are still few and far between compared to South Texas.
I traveled the state with my job a lot. Not sure I ever had good BBQ in West Texas. The worst I ever had was in Amarillo. Only good BBQ I ever had in Oklahoma was Bob’s BBQ in Ada, Oklahoma and they closed many years ago.
I lived in Corpus quite a few years, good BBQ in South Texas. Country Tavern, Stanley’s and Bodacious have been in East Texas for many years.

I am off. I made 5.5 dozen cookies for family and friends and picked up 4 bottles of wine for some other friends. I did go to work yesterday even though I was supposed to be off. A client with back issues came in yesterday evening. I work Thursday, Friday and Saturday, though. Be safe on the roads, guys and gals. It's crowded and people are stupid.

Cowboy boots or sketchers....I have one pair of "fancy" UA tennis shoes my daughter bought me that require tying, but that's it I keep looking at those slip on sketchers. I just can't give in quite yet. Life altering

Best BBQ I have ever had is the Rendezvous in Memphis Tenn. used to go there back in 70's and their st louis (dry style) ribs were great but I've heard the quality isn't as good as it once was....Dreamland ribs in Tuscaloosa and Smokey Pig sandwiches in Phenix City are the best I've ever had....

After living in Texas my whole life and having tried BBQ in several other states I will throw my pick on Texas being the best. That said I am getting tired of the briskets where a heavy seasoned bark is considered the best. It was not always that way and thinking back on some great BBQ growing up the brisket was not really about a thick dark bark. I am trying to remember when that was becoming a thing. It has become very popular, and I would like to find some that was cooked as I remember it from 30-40 years ago. Yep. A bunch of [censored] brushed on the outside is just covering up what they didn’t do right.

That’s what automation gets you. Grounded for Weight & Balance software?!
Takes about 2 minutes and a simple calculator! FOS and DEKS are not just W&B systems. It is much more than that.
