Brrrrrrrr!
G’morning OT!
Look out DFW, I’m gonna be driving with my stumps today, so please give space to any handicap looking van you may see! Last week I got past the evaluation, today I start “lessons” on actual roads with you folks lol!
Thank you God for another day!

Thursday Morning Coffee

Mornin everybody. It's a great day to be alive! First day of the season with a "3" as the first in the temp - 39 here this morning, and highs in the upper 60s this afternoon. I'm already tired of winter! Grab a cup and think about that turkey you need to get to thawing. Have a great day, OT. On this day in history, 1922, Rebecca Ann Felton of Georgia was sworn into office, becoming the first woman seated in the U.S. Senate; Felton, who was appointed to the seat, served only two days.

They all have their own shows on YouTube now. I watch quite a few of them. David Freiburger even has his now.

First song I chose of this guy. I'll be diving in a little more later when I'm on the road. Good song here and great little solo to punch this song over. Thanks on the heads up!

My brother is a land man, we were talking today and he called BS on the majority of it, as in what a land man actually does vs. the portrayal in the show. He does negotiations and acquisitions and title research, but none of this John Wayne nonsense in the show. He also sleeps in his own bed in Aledo every night. He did say that the facts and figures Billy Bob spouted off about money is pretty spot on, so I guess there's that. Is your brother an in-house landman? The field landmen are on the road a lot. Of course that has changed recently with a lot of their work being available online and through remote access. They still travel a lot, but it is less than it once was. In House Makes sense. In-house landmen are handling acquisitions/divestitures and all biz to biz aspects. The field guys are out chasing leases, ROW, etc.
