Best spinnerbait review ever

Comments: This spinnerbait does get bit for sure. Excellent for small bass but when big momma bites and you set the hook it opens up faster than ole girl down behind the alley when you flash her a $100 bill.

Randomly found this on TW yesterday. Laughter is so good for the heart. Merry Christmas!

Just because you started something doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.
I don’t care what yal stuff your tacos and tamales with. Just don’t call it bbq. Call it some hipster way of adding to much seasoning and ashtray to a piece of meat. Unlike you, I have had both and just stating facts. There is 16 counties in southern Ky and northern Tn that will have you stepping over the best Texas brisket you will ever eat. Just like Johnny Cash said, “do what you do do well, boy”, stuff that chit in tacos. Come eat real bbq over here, hell we the ones taught you how to cook anyway. No there isn’t….. Merry Christmas. Go eat your tamales in peace. We are preparing real bbq. No smoker required.

While we’re on the subject, I’ve had Black’s BBQ in Lockhart multiple times and each time the brisket was dry and average at best. There’s at least three joints in Lockhart that are better. Krautz Smittys and Chislm trail are way better. Another fifteen minutes puts you at Luling market which is better than any of the Lockhart joints. Kreuz is one of my favorite BBQ joints.

I was a handler for Thunder, the WTA&M buffalo back in the late 80s. We didn't sedate him,and yes, he kicked our butts a couple times.

Strong south wind = no fish?
AustinWader
Hi everyone! I was fishing on Buchanan couple days ago on the 21st and did quite well with the whites/stripers. Easily 80+ fish caught. It was slightly windy, maybe 7-8mph. I then went again the next day on the 22nd, but this time the wind was blowing around 12mph with 20 mph gusts. It was whitecapping and made for a rough boat ride. However, I had expected the fishing to still be good, since I hear that wind is good for fishing, as long as it isn't a north wind. However, when I tried the same regions, I either found no fish, or the fish were completely lockjawed. Caught maybe 3 fish the entire afternoon. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what is behind this phenomenon. Would be a good lesson to learn! Thanks in advance! Merry Christmas!

I've always been impressed how they can halfway train a 1000pound plus bovine to chill out in a loud stadium. You know he gets the best feed in Texas. Best shampoo. Manicured hoofs.
He knows what's up. Being pampered or being a steak on a plate. They drug him. Seen him last week walking in the stadium. My first thought was he was sedated. Felt bad for the animal. Sometimes it is necessary to sedate an animal but not to go to a dang football game.

Rental property
My parents had 25 rent houses at their peak. They are down to 9 now. In their mid 80’s so they should have none. They can tell you a lot of stories over the years.
What you should be able to do and legally can are two different things. To evict anyone there is a a legal process to follow. Every dead beat renter knows the process and that it’s more favorable to the renter or squatter than landlord. You can get them out it just takes time. They know that and will run it to the bitter end. Regardless they will tear the hades out of it, leave it incredibly nasty and steal anything on the way out. Not much you can do about that. You can’t get blood from a turnip as they say. It’s amazing the filth some will live in. I was in one of their houses over the weekend that the renter left after not paying the rent several months. The carpet was pretty undistinguishable from just a mud floor. Trash and junk everywhere. This was after my parents filled 3 dumpsters from the house. I told my wife if she went it there she would need to take a half dozen showers after.
What rental property will do is help you realize how horrible many people are.
It’s easier in Montgomery a county than Harris County to evict. Still you have to go through the legal process.

As someone who votes differently from many TFF’ers (I am a retired coach and teacher) my hope and wish would be to please 🙏 leave politics out of TFF. It’s everywhere on this site no matter the section. Just keep your political comments to yourself. Let’s talk fishing and be respectful of everyone. ☮️ You do realize this is the “Off Topic” forum… I understand that this off topic, but as I posted earlier it’s everywhere. If the title suggests that the conversation is political I usually just don’t click on it. But many times a how to or general fishing thread turns to a political bashing. Not everyone agrees so just leave those comments to threads that you can share your opinions with like minded people

I showed an extraordinary feat of strength today as great grandma ripped one walking by me. I was sitting on the sofa, about head high to her thundering rear. My daughter looked over at me with a look of fear. My son mistakenly accused someone across the room. I was able to gather my strength together and wade through the mess and safely leave the room.
