Re: Milliken

wonder why Texas and all states don't send you an e-mail or text reminder when your license expires? guess that makes too much sense..... I believe this penalizing a fishermen by denying him the right to buy a license in several states because he got a ticket for an expired license in one state is totally uncalled for....guy that buys licenses in several states is not a lawbreaker and doesn't deserve a penalty that jeopardizes his fishing career.... Once again Beatrap, Couldn't agree more. There are certainly wildlife crimes that deserve stiff penalty (think the idiots that were stuffing their walleye full of lead and had won, tens of thousands of dollars at their local walleye derbys, high end ranger boats, etc.). they got off with a slap on the wrist essentially. I can't reiterate it enough, Ben was HELPING TPWD, by donating his legacy SHERRY! Nothing was harmed, nobody got screwed out of a raffle prize (Ben's name was removed from both of the pots), I kind of doubt he cares less about a replica. What else? Ben wanted the location of his Sherry catch to remain unknown, TPWD couldn't even do that. Most likely because they want to push an agenda on a few lakes here in Nac. Co. Stop with the non sense TPWD and Nac Co. DA. I think we should all find out the date of the court hearing and appear in court, in force, with free Milliken shirts on, I'll be there, and i'll try to let everyone know on here when the court date is. Good golly let the man up for air, I’m not a fan of the Share a Lunker program as it is now, but evidently the man broke the law. Does law enforcement overreach at times, you bet they do, but come on he didn’t have a license and it wasn’t legal for him to be fishing much less turn a fish into the program. Admit you were wrong, pay the fine. Pretty simple. And please stop with the Sherry, it’s kinda gay! Fish On!

... They already beat Houston in KC, playoff Chiefs will be ready especially with three weeks rest. Remember what happened to all the teams that got a first round bye in the CFP???... Gone-zo... Time off isn't always a good thing... Dan These aren’t a bunch of college kids. These are professionals. With possibly the best QB to ever play the game, along with the best head coach in the league and the best defensive coordinator. They’ll be ready. in the NFL a week off is used to get healthy which is a good thing IMHO

Ewers just declared for the NFL draft. I would guess late 2nd round or 3rd. That’s probably his best option, considering he’s injury prone. A multi year NFL contract would potentially be better than a 1 yr NIL deal. If he were to get injured in college next year he could be done for good.

Ewers, Ehlinger, Simms, McCoy...etc, etc, etc. Manning might be more of the same but the QB didn't lose that last game. First and goal from less than two yards...twice. THAT is what did them in. Sark outsmarted himself and got kicked in the nuts for it. They had FIVE shots from the 2, 4 of them from the ONE. Under the circumstances the second down call might be the single worst play call I've ever witnessed. If ut cannot move the football 3 FEET FORWARD with FOUR opportunities they simply do not deserve to win the game IMOP. Also, it looked like to me the DC called a delayed blitz with 29 seconds left in the first half with OSU starting on their 18 yard line.... but I haven't bothered to watch the play in slow motion to confirm... maybe Coach Hark can offer up his opinion. No matter, if ut cannot hold their ground on a 82 yard field with 29 seconds left, well, again they don't deserve to win the game IMOP..... and I HATE "The" Ohio State University and was BIG TIME pulling for ut.... Sark himself said " well quite frankly if we cannot score from the 1 we do not deserve to win "

Looks like crews are still holding and improving on the palisades and eaton fires. No new growth in terms of acreage, despite continued red flag warnings for high winds, low RH and poor overnight RH recovery.
Lets continue to keep everyone involved in our thoughts and prayers (even the gov, mayor, and fire chief, as it seems as though they may need it the most). /\Amen/\

I enjoy listening to the games on 1080 KRLD. Not many experiences more American than listening to a baseball game on AM radio.
X2 Agree. Most sports are better on radio. Wife will watch football on tv and I'll be on the back deck listening to the same game on Sirius.

Re: Lake St Claire guide suggestions???

Meeting my cousin in early May to go fish St Claire and was wondering if ya'll had any suggestions for a smallmouth guide there! A scoper is fine. I'm pretty solid on that outside of not being a bass fisherman. Thanks! Slew What kind of fisherman are you? If you are going to go for a few days, I would look for a guide that can pull double duty on some musky. Spencer Berman, or anyone in his crew. Jon Bondy is more of a bass guy that musky fishes, im not sure if he still takes clients but look him up, he also has bondy bait co. or did.
