I went out for an hour and a half this morning and caught 4 up to 3lbs. Between this place and Echo I still havent seen a fish with a bloody tail although I've seen several full of eggs.

I caught a female with a bloody tail out of echo at our bass grabbers tournament. They are there but not too many right now. Have also caught a few with bloody tails out of the trinity. Its just been a weird year for the spawn with this crazy weather.

I agree this weather has made the spawn a lil funky. Nathan you and Russ have convinced me to find some spots on the trinity based on the results you guys have been having. I live out in Rendon so it's not convenient but It sounds like it's worth it so this week I'm going exploring.

It's totally worth it man. Trinity is my all time favorite place to bass fish from the bank and a kayak. I go every time knowing that I will probably catch something. Very rare to get skunked out there. At least alot more rare than it is on lakes in my experience.

I caught one but mainly hiked. Nice place I was surprised by the amount of walkers at 7am. I will visit a couple parks next time I target the trinity. I ended up at CV and caught a few although the water is still pretty stained. Going to check a couple spots in Arlington for my next trip.
