I caught females 3 weeks ago and watched active spawning. I don't know enough to speculate whether rain would restart anything, but I was guessing that the spawn was on the downswing...at least on the LL creeks. +1

Don't know about LL, nor in creeks.
But spawn is hot in Coves for Grapevine Lake this past weekend with 2-3" live shad, #6 hook, 4#-8# test lines.
All females I caugt still have eggs.

We were still catching hybrid on Tuesday in hickory creek and on Wednesday nothing but small male sand bass
