tagezzy, that is to be expected and a healthy part of the grieving process. Google "grieving process" and read up on it. This will help you to understand and identify the steps in the process. We all go through it. Some faster than others. Hang in there bud.

Tom, you may know by now that I ain't the greatest with words, but I mean well. With that said I have found the most peace, knowing that in regards to time, our life here on earth is only a nano second long, our life with our Heavenly Father is eternal. It is without pain and suffering. We both had great fathers, but for a reason GOD needed there assistance, it's our turn to carry the torch. He will call for us soon enough, you keep your head up knowing that your father was a GOD fearing man and in a wonderful place now. Anytime you need to talk I am here.

Thank you brother. I just need to get back out on the water. Let the calming peace of fishing soothe me. I think I'll stop by and grab my poles tonight. I'm going to try to fish tomorrow after work.

You just follow your dream and listen. Your Dad will talk to you in more ways than you can imagine. We all have friends and family that have passed and believe me they are watching and helping more than we realize.
When my life long fishing partner passed away; there was not a tournament fished that I ask him in my prayers to guide me in the write direction and keep me safe in that tournament. He gets the credit for a ton of wins. This. I was just 17 when my dad and fishing buddy passed away. TO this day (some 35 years later), every time I go fishing, I send him a little shout out.

In honor of my dad I will dedicate a trip after work to Bob Woodruff park tomorrow. I will ask him for his blessing and guidance. I will let you guys know how it goes.

I have to cancel my plans...
Meeting up with an attorney after work and on too of that it's my 7 year anniversary with my girl. She would of been a little upset with me if I would if forgotten lol
If it's not raining in the morning I'll try to get up early lol

for very long myself. But I've read tons of good advice.
Asked a few questions, had several guys helping me out
with their own ideas. Really enjoy this forum

Tom, nothing can compare us for losing a loved one, especially a father. Sorry to hear he passed away, thoughts and prayers will be sent. I still have my father, he is 74, so I try and cherish each moment I get with him, especially while fishing. In fact we have a small tournament we are fishing together in this afternoon, so hopefully we have fun and do well.
I don't know what I will do once he is gone, so I am sure this is a hard time for you. Just keep fishing and remembering him. Hope you catch a good one real soon.
And Skeeter, that is an amazing offer. I hope you guys can get out of Fork soon and have an awesome day fishing. Gestures like that are why I enjoy this site and really enjoy fishing.
