I could be COMPLETELY wrong but it looks like that boat is on the sand flats over SE of the crappie house, towards the dam. And that looks like the tower from tower bay in the background. Again, could be wrong. If that is where they are, there are sand bars that come up into less than 2 feet of water and there are some big rocks scattered around that area. If you find the sand bars, you can walk for 100s of yards where I'm talking about.

A buddy of mine sent the pic to me and I sent it to okie to post. My buddy took the pic from the bank and he said they ran aground but then got out with a seine to catch bait then went to the bank and started fishing. He just couldn't believe it. He said they seemed to care less about the boat. I said maybe stole it from a marina. Who knows nowadays lol lol

I think in the Texas lakes unless your in a full blown offshore or walleye rig it doesn't matter how long or wide a bass boat is......you can be had by the waves......I had a buddy swamp and flip the biggest Charger made; 22 feet if I remember right, on Fork and it almost cost him his life........

maybe its not the guys boat who is nearby. Maybe he was a bank fisher and took the opportunity to go fish near the boat as he thought it was offering some good bass structure to fish..... fish Anyway hope the owner is ok

I originally thought that is where it was, but the lake is much wider there. It must be on the east side somewhere.

My buddy watched the boat run aground and the guy in the pic was one of the three in the boat.

My guess is they ran aground and then took some rollers over the side.

I have seen it on Hubbard many times, when they call 911 we go get em.

I thought the same thing, I was thinking it may have been one of those cases where the angle messes with the perspective. But I bet you're right.

I was at joe pool today and it was brutal. Didn't seem that bad at first but next thing I knew it was crazy. I'm a novice so that being said it may not have been bad for you guys that have had boats for years and go to the lake all the time but it was the roughest I've seen it out there so far.

My brother did that to his own boat when he left the aerator pump on manual when we docked at Crips Camp on Caddo Lake. Went back down to put the batteries on charge after dinner and thought someone stole the boat before realizing it looked just like the pic. Five minutes later his boat was resurrected from the abyss. hammer

I saw 3 men in a small white boat making several trips in and out of the marina yesterday, I might guess its the same boat but not for sure. I am curious as outfishda says, I thought the water is plenty deep there...looks like its just out from Petes to me.
