I hit 380 for about an hour around nightfall below the bridge today. I had no luck, although I suppose an hour and one general spot really isn't enough time to figure out too much.

I should add, the water was on the high side and had a murky greyish green tint.

No, I got out too late and had to get back to let my wife go to work. I ended up getting picked and had to go a second day. I got out around 1:30 or so... went south of the bridge and saw some nice hybrids bumping the water, just wanted nothing of what little I had to offer.

You think minnows should do better?

Not trying to doubt you or sound rude, but are you sure those were hybrids and not the gar? The gar were showing up Sunday and rolling through the water a lot.

No worries... I'm pretty sure they were hybrids by the look of them. I do know they were not gar... but that's all I do know. I've seen my fair share of gar... but I have been known to be wrong, just don't tell my wife.

I would imagine that the water is pretty cloudy today, but I HOPE that the rain encouraged some fish to move up.

Probably all knocked out by the hail yesterday. That area had 80+ mph winds and baseball-golf ball size hail. The heavy rain was a great sight though!!

I went on friday @2pm-445 and there was a mix of bass and gar hitting the surface. I ran into a guy who said he hadnt gotten a bite. So I threw a mix of 1/16 roadrunners with skirted grubs and minnow colored sassi shad. Had a couple of misses, but to my disappointment, no lands. I was just past the first log jam south of the bridge.

Kayaked from Greenbelt park down past the big bend. With roadrunners, inline spinners, and spinners I didnt have any luck. Water was a little murky still. Just saw a lot of gar. Beautiful weather though!

Couple days ago we paddled down south of the 380 bridge trolling, jigging, casting. Not a bite. Water temp started at around 62 and went down to 59 the further south we went. Talked with a couple of guys along the bank and they had no bites either. Gotta believe they will be there soon. Might need to paddle all the way to the lake to make sure there is enough water.

Guys look @ a Lewisville map heading south from 380 via trinity.
your first huge bend is where it dumps into the NW side of the lake. The point all the way to the lake is dry.
So actually the mouth to lake Lewisville is about 100 yards wide and few inches deep. The only fish that are gonna run is the fish trapped in the NW corridor.
I kno they only need an inch and a half of water. But they cannot get thru just way to long of a stretch.you would think the rain would raise the level but it just flows wide rather than full.
