Thanks guys!

I know that some guys on hunting forums that say these LED's get addictive. Under bed rails on trucks, under edge of campers for walk path, under awnings of camper, on feeders for night hog hunting etc.etc.

I can see these, in bright white, under rub rails for night fishing.

I had these on my last boat. I even asked the coast guard on falcon about them. They said they had no issue with them and that they liked that they were alot more visible than regular lights. With that said they don't have the official coast guard approved stamp so if you found the right guy it could be an issue. When I installed mine I mounted my regular nav light and stepped back and moved my led around until it was visible from the same angles as the factory light. Then I made my marks and installed the leds. This way You got basically the same viewing angles but they are 10x as bright as the normal nav lights. If you've ever seen these on the lake you will understand what I mean.

If your power-driven vessel is less than 39 .4 feet (12 meters) in length,
then it may display navigation lights as shown in Figure 2 .

scroll down to 27 for pic, won't copy for some reason.
