Bought a set of the LED bow lights from Blue Water LED and installed them in the rub rail. Wired them into the light base so I can still use the pole if needed. Looks pretty good and the install was super easy. They are bright as can be. I was a tad nervous when I started but took my time and now glad I did it. Been getting the boat ready for some serious time on the water. I also added some daytime pix. I ended up going back and using some epoxy to secure the lights then used a black silicone to fill in around lights. I actually went back and smoothed out the silicone a lot so it looks more factory. Thanks

Looks good. If be interested in install steps if you get bored I made a mark on the center of bow then using tape I landmarked it on equal distances on each side. Then used tape again to tell me when the cut needed to stop on each side. Took a razor knife and went very slow cutting into center(replaceable) section of trim till I had enough removed to place the LED strips in. They have a strong adhesive backing but I made sure to recess them in the trim si they do not take brunt of impact with tree or dock etc. I then drilled the smallest hole I could to run into the bow of boat. Make sure you use a marine silicone when done on the small holes. You will have to remove bow panel to access light base wiring. I just tied off into it and cleaned it up connection wise. That's really all there is to it. Took maybe an hour tops.

I would be interested in the install steps as well for my Ranger. Please see above. I listed how I did it. Lights are less than $30.00 per set BTW.

VERY bright. I would think any LEOs would not have an issue at all.

I would agree. I can actually see these on the water when folkd.s have them the old style you can barely see. In my opinion, there is no reason not to have them. I actually installed mine on top of the rub rail. Just drilled a 5/16" hole in the center of the bow and run the wire to the post base. Takes about 15 minutes
