The castability is unbelievable! Best reel for it's price point on the market. It's a workhorse its all aluminum and actually has a higher than specified drag at 16.5 lbs

Been using Chronarch D and really like them, but I bought the Tatula Type R and put it on a Tatula rod was amazed Daiwa could build these at that price range.

I know how the Curados hold up over time, that will be the final test for Tatula to me, is how good will it be a few years down the road. PB 10.58 Joe Pool

Bassalong Pro Angler B Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 898 Iowa	I just got one and used it about 20% of the time over a period of 4 days throwing mostly a bandit 200. I was running the spool pretty full with 15 lb mono. I was quite satisfied with it. Think it would have worked even better with a lighter action rod with that light bait. It's a keeper for sure.
