I have learned to fish soft plastic type swimbaits and I just have more confidence in them than something like this lure.

I caught 7 fish today on a 9" slammer...all to small to even make a decent video. That being said Im sure these SK King shads will catch fish...I bet it would really work well as a surface bait worked slow and erratically

I fish a lot of different LARGE lures here on fork, I am in search of the SAL. my pb is 14.8 and I would love to break that here so most of the time I am chasin the big gurls.
I believe I could catch with that one and have the rod for tossin it, splash would just be an attractant as far as I am concerned.

+1

Not saying you won't catch some fish on it, but with the time that takes - looking I'd spend a little more coin on a quality swimbait that's proven. Just my two cents!

Very cool idea though and a great way to find out! cheers You might make someone pretty happy.. Good luck!

I think you should give this little dude a chance with your bait. He has caught many 8lb plus and is headed to lake fork in two weeks for spring break!

Yea, I'd like to see you give it to Donald Harper. Of any crank baits, I like surface lures the best, but I don't care to throw it. When it comes to eating, I don't think largemouth bass are scared of nuthin.
