Your boat looks nice. You could toss the Speedometer and replace it with the JENSEN MS30RTL marine stereo fm / mp3 player that will drop right into the 3" hole in your dash where the spedo was located. Then mount a couple of marine speakers and you will have some tunes from your mp3 to listen to all day long. Heres a tip: Billy Idol - White Wedding cranked up simulates a school of shad and works good for attracting feeding bass.

LOL... I am not sure I understand why people wanna listen to music when they are out in nature, so my suggestion is to get some headphones and drive on... that way the rest of the fishermen who are out there for the peace, quiet, and serenity don't have to listen to you bumping the latest Bieber hits as you drive by with your 10,000 watt dual amp powered 15 inch subwoofer Fail. Way to show your opinion on anyone that likes to listen to music while fishing. After all you fish because it's fun right. Guess it's wrong to have music as part of your fun. No. It's wrong to disturb the people around you, plain and simple. It's also really stupid to make a lot of unnecessary noise when you're trying to catch fish. The people around you won't appreciate it. So if you need to listen to music at the expense of those around you, go ahead, but don't get mad when they call you out on it . . .or do 5 donuts around your boat and wash you out because you're being a disturbance. Most people do fish because it's fun. If you're a decent person, you also try not to disrupt others who are fishing. . .and ruining their fun. . .just because YOU want some noise.

We have a Bose Sound Wave Bluetooth speaker. Played some American Aquarium yesterday on the water. Nice way to chill out. Don't always want music but nice to have once in a while. these are about 200 right Mark? is the sound loud enough .. again dont want to blare all over the lake just loud enough to hear all in the boat and thats it.. I would rather pay for a good speaker one time and have good quality music then pay 50 bucks for something that sounds like [censored] and distorts if i turn it up loud enough to hear They are perfect. Great sound with good tone. More than enough volume too. We use it at home as well as at our lake place.

I fish a lot during the work week and for relaxation.. Plan on fishing a friendly Tuesday night turney this year on a local lake thats about it.. I do it for fun.. you are right There are A lot of times that I love the peace and quiet. But also some times that I get a buddy in the boat and we get on some fish and are having a good old time and just want some tunes.. nothing blaring and by no means sub woofers.... just something loud and clear enough that I can hear it from the console area to the front deck.. thats all.. And if I am in an area with a bunch of people sure Ill turn it off or down.. I can respect other people sir and still enjoy music when i fish.. I can certainly respect this. I wish everyone who does choose to listen to music while fishing would have the same attitude and respect as J-Dizzle does. I personally enjoy music, but not while fishing, but that is just me. What I really do not like is for someone to force thier loud music on me or others that enjoy the solitude of fishing and a little talk between boats.

I have the Jam Box made by jawbone that I use in my boat and it works great. Has a really good battery life and good bluetooth and the quality of sound is nice.

If you've got Lowrance HDS graph. Takes up NO dash space.
Does require mounting 2 speakers though. I've heard of some stuffing them up under the console though.

Always had tunes in the boat.
From personal research the big fish seem to prefer Bluegrass and West Coast Jazz.

I used to have a docking station but I didn't like having my phone attached to it all the time. I just recently bought a UE Boom (bluetooth connection)and it works great! It's a little pricey ($200) but it's water proof, works as a speakerphone if you get a call and it has a 15 hour battery life. It has amazing sound for it's size and doesn't have to be pointed in a certain direction to hear it. +1, buddy bought one too and they come with a free app that let's you connect two UE speakers in stereo via Bluetooth sound quality is amazing for a speaker about the size of 16oz soda can. I use it around the house all the time too. My buddy had a durability issue with his but I've had mine about a year with no probs.

I agree with the part about not disturbing others of course, but some of my best days have come when enjoying some tunes, those bass really didn't seem to mind a bit. Believe it or not I've had a slow bite get better after cranking some tunes (some songs do work better than others).

While fishing a BASS Central Open a couple of years ago my boater had a sound system in his boat. One of those you can hear coming on the street a mile away. He turned it on once when we were leaving a spot and the water started vibrating. He had woofers in the storage compartment covers on the back. So big you couldn't get anything in the compartments except maybe something very small.
I'll just keep my small radio that cost me $30. Just want it there for the big bass tournaments and some tunes if I get bored.
