Do fish live in water? You know it will.
That said, the latest lake report is out and Ray Roberts gained 5 deg during the last warm up. I think shallow lakes will warm quickly as we get into march.
I am beyond tired of the cold weather.

not very likely. Every year we get really anxious about how the weather is going to affect the spawn but it rarely causes much of a delay. Water temp is only part of the equation. Exactly. I'd bet that had the weather been a lot colder or a lot hotter, it wouldn't effect the spawn much.

In my experience, when a girl is pregnant she is going to give birth early, on time or late. It can stay cold but it does not change the fact that they are pregnant and ready to blow.

There will be spawning fish on many lakes this next full moon. They want to get it done just as bad as you want them to.

Well, I'm sure most of you have seen we are about to have yet ANOTHER Arctic front come through our area and little rain ..... This has GOT to be playing the devil with the spawn....water temps will fall AGAIN.... Grrrrrrrrr....... Man, like most of you, I'm ready for REAL SPRINGTIME weather and let the fish begin the spawn!!

Like has already been said, bass spawn in waves. I have caught bass with bloody tails in mid June.

Hopefully we don't get on another cycle of fronts hitting on Fri-Sat all spring with 30mph winds.
