I don't know the definition of a plug, but this sure seems like one.
This entire thread is a plug....

Hi Richie, I sent you a PM with a few questions. your system looks good and convenient vs most guides who use a "datetimer" or calendar book!!! Those still work fine but they are missing the convenience of internet customers wanting to go fishing vs phone tag with a guide.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything negative about reservefishing. Sometimes I don't think before I act.
I wasn't able to get past their guide login screen, so I assumed it didn't have a place for guides to enter their trips. It could be my own ignorance. I edited those posts.

Tz, you are right- talking to the guide is best. Most of the guides I have hired (20+) came from referrals of buddies of mine and their positive fishing experience with named guide. As a result, I knew I was going to hire them when I called. Referrals to guides is one critical key to success.
IMO, the act of making a reservation on-line makes more sense for a guide than trying to book a trip over the phone with him/her while fishing, shopping, mowing the lawn, etc. They can't remember all the days they are booked and not booked over the next 3-4 months. You get that. Soooo you can have it both ways with his on-line system. If possible, book those that call you directly and let those that want to book on-line do so. Best of both worlds!
Providing customer comments on each guide is good info for future clients. Some guides are great with kids and older people - others don't have the patience - people want to know that info before booking. You probably won't learn that talking to the guide! The commission plan here is fair and is what you pay another guide for a booked trip... this is not an easy business to get started in.... or stay in, lots of costs and not enough booked trips to cover them.
It's not perfect, but this looks to be a very good "FREE" reservation system that Richie developed and is kind enough to offer to others in his profession. Give Richie some credit and a "Thanks for sharing" here on this forum.
It is definitely worth a guides time to review his site thoroughly.
