 any luck on lewisville/grapevine??

havent heard much reports on lewisville or gp. The last three times I went to the lewisville bank I got one bite and it was a 10lb. Is it still slow on these two lakes. Was thinking about lavon on sat. Instead.

Grapevine still has Shad dieing off & the fishing is slow unless you're going after Carp & Buffalo.

Go to Lavon and hook up with one of capt Larry's party boat trips. Grapevine and Lewisville are kinda dead right now.

hey shadyak are you netting shad by the boat ramps? I really dont want to make the drive to WRC to get some gizzards, and from what i read earlier, tarponfly said the shad might be in the main lake in a week or so. I would hate to make the drive this weekend to WRC and get nothing.

I can get them on warmer days with a south wind throwing around docks, but the cold fronts come in and they are gone. I think wrc will still be loaded for a few more weeks. You will know they are running the lakes when we start seeing some pics and reports of hybrids being caught from shore....
