In my experience crappie will hold to willow better than most other trees, so you're on the right trail there. The only thing that I see that will cause you a problem is the lack of concrete (not filled to the top). Currents in a lake will move the heaviest of trees (brushpiles) and those don't look too heavy. The bright side is that you'll get a lot of experience in using your electronics trying to find where they moved.

I fill the bottom couple feet with concrete or the whole bucket for the other ones. I keep the crappie trees in old ponds in the middle of some timber that I can tie to and fish straight down. There is no current so they don't move, and there are zero hang ups except for fish.
