Excellent! The extra tall height will work wonders. Mix in some PVC for added longevity and variety! Cool post from fish photographer about why some cribs work and some don't. Structurespot

Maybe you can find some remaining drop-offs in Wright Patman, I am not sure, seems like most of them are more like subtle depth changes or worn slopes...but I agree with Keith...because he is the Condo Master on one of the lakes I fish...

They work great in the summertime. I have a dozen of these in lake o' the pines that have treated me very well.

I use these for largemouth. They only cost about $15 apiece to build and work great. I baffle people how I can fish for under an hour and come back with enough for a fish fry. These are my secret.

I've always used bamboo but I know those will work too.
Bamboo was easier to get for me and always uniform size & shape.
Willows will probably last allot longer.
Looks Good!
