Anyone know about these two small lakes/ponds in Rowlett? I've been fishing a couple of times, but didn't have any luck.

Back in like october or november 2013 my dad and my kids tried fishing at Rowlett Creek but didn't have any luck. I convinced my dad to go down to this park and try for catfish. My son caught a small bluegill that looked kinda sickly. I caught a few really small largemouth bass. No catfish bites though we were not there long though and I didn't get to fish it much the place is big and my fishing reel was messing up on me. Hope this info helps, you might have more luck in spring and summer.

I've caught two lmb outta the larger pond. One a keeper and the other 12"
Ain't nothin better than watching a fish stretch my line.

Thanks. I was fishing in the small one, having read that TPWD stocked it with catfish from 1999-2003. Who knows what's happened in the last 11 years there.
