I live walking distance from these 2 ponds and I always see people fishing. Anyone know about these ponds or ever fished there? The Pond is pretty close to the Rowlett creek.

year before last, i caught some good numbers of crappie. nothing huge but nice size in the bigger pond. ive been told that they have been stocking it with catfish for the past several years and have seen some nice cats caught.the weather and rain was so crazy last spring that i never caught much. have you seen people fishing it more often lately? the crappie may be up spawning

This past weekend there were at least 10 peopel fishing in the bigger pond. Not very many people fish at the small one but there are a few who catch yellow bass. Anyways, Thanks for the info, I was just curious about these ponds and as to why there were so many people that one day.

those ponds have large mouth bass, catfish, some white bass, carp, and a bunch of crappie. i saw a couple last summer catching a bunch of crappie on jigs. they stocked the big pond with catfish last year.

I fished there this past weekend for a few hours. Caught 3 good size channel cats, 1 mud cat and a turtle. Dont know if its good to eat fish caught from that pond but i released them.
