....had a friend that was trying to pitch a hardhead off the hook last week and somehow it stuck him in the chest right underneath his solar plexus. Got him into the Dr. fast as he had his 300Xp to the stops. They ended up having to open him up to clean the wound out as it had went in a good inch and a half or so.
Dr. told him with all the funk in the water these days that anytime you get stuck it's a good idea to have it looked at. Also told me that the old wive's tale about rubbing some of the slime from the Cat on the wound is the worst thing you could do as you may be setting yourself up for a nasty infection by doing that.
...so good it tastes like it died screaming!

My Bro Charlie is doing fine after the hard head attack. He found and old salt that showed him (bro) a homemade tool to take them off the hook without touching those nasties.

I caught this one in the surf last month. Caught a total of four in October. They were all used for shark bait!
