Different sports with different practices. Can you expand on that ?

I don't understand why anyone would have an issue with BASS doing this. As others have said, the precedent has already been set. Its not as though they changed the rules for him. I guess he should have to go back to the opens in 15 to qualify for the 16 season since he can't compete in 14 as well.

And by the way Willie, you already answered this question with a previous post. It wall boils down to this... Actually there is no right or wrong. It's his rules, he can write them however he wants to write them. His rules do not have to match perfectly to TPWD's methods of measuring. Seems like he is erring on the side of caution by having his rules the way he has them. Like mentioned above, by his rules you were not in violation of the law. However if his rules matched TPWD's and the fish does not measure, you are in violation of the law.
Now if his method of measuring fish is not in his written rules, you need to implore him to add it to the rules for the future. How is that any different than B.A.S.S. writing their rules and dealing with extraordinary circumstances on a one-by-one basis? It's their tour, they can write the rules however they want.

the presidence has already been set. Yes but his term is over in 2016 so it's never too early to talk about it.

Different sports with different practices. Can you expand on that ? Are you that dense? Prior practices of both sports. Olympics doesn't give medical/hardship exemptions. BASS does. But again, you've already answered your own question, previously.

Who is arguing that it is not their right to have whatever rules they want ? That woul;d be infantile. Obviously they can have whatever rules they want. And water is wet and the sky is blue. All are foregone conclusions, I just wanted to see how you compare it to Lindsey Vonn's situation, that's all. Sparking conversation on a cold day.

As others have said he is not the first they have given a pass to because of a health issue. If they had never done this before and suddenly did for him it would be different.

When one attacks the messenger instead of the message, it generally says something about one's stance.

If I have to explain different practices of the two sports to you (which you already know) then the DENSE shoe fits. Name calling Go troll elsewhere.

Tree huggers and animal rights activists? I never really considered myself either but what the heck is the point here? To insult everyone that might be reading this? You are 100% wrong so instead of just dropping it, you start insulting people in ways that don't even make sense. What's next? It's their club/competition/whatever you call it. They make the rules. Get over it. Don't enter it if you don't like it.
