Only time will tell the answer to whether he's taking money out of someone else's pocket in the 2015 Classic. If he doesn't legitimately qualify by winning a tournament, etc for the 2015 Classic and then he places in the money, you better believe that's taking money out of someone's pocket!

Your position is silly, at best. Participation ribbons LMAO! One of the best anglers in the world. Top 10 AOY for how long now? And you think they're giving him a participation ribbon?

By the same token, one of the best in the world will not be at the 2014 Classic to compete for the spot he earned. That's putting money in everyone else's pockets.

I can't believe that ANYONE would take your position. Talk about whiners.

I'll guarantee you that NONE of the anglers in the 2014 and 2015 Classics share your position.

Sounds like someone is either:

1. STILL mad that Cliff beat their favorite angler in the Classic, or
2. They are an animal rights activist and despise deer hunting

Which one is it?

I believe BASS made the perfect decision on this, staying consistent with previous similar situations.

I like Cliff Pace and killed a 180" deer this year..so neither of the above. I'm just not a pansie. I'm not a titbag that feels like he should get a pass and that's just what it is. Man up and fish or forfeit the position. Apparently some feel good tree huggers can't see what I'm talking about. Clay Dyer doesn't make excuses. Cliff qualified for the 2014 classic and that's what he should fish. If not, he should have to re-qualify. Maybe if If I were a jersey wearing, sponsor promoting, boat wrapped, club tournament fishing somebody, I'd feel like he gets the pass. But I'm not.

Couldn't have said it any better or plainer myself. He qualified for THIS year's classic. He can't compete. He should have to qualify if he wants to make it next year.

So for discussion purposes, how is Cliff's situation different than Lindsey Vonn's ? Should Lindsey get a free pass to be on the next Olympic Team since she can't participate in this one because of injury ?
