I have a question,
How are we going to know a winner if you can only have one bow in possesion 20" and above in the red zone? [quote=Turf Dawg]I have a question, You can do what they call a paper tournament. You would take pictures of your fish with a approved measuring device and then upload your pictures to Carey at weigh in. It would be by inches not pounds.

Yes it would be a paper tourney unless ur keeping, u can bring the whole fish. Some peeps like to eat them. So both ways will work. I did a paper tourney for the bass tourney on fork.
Apparently this falls on spring break Texas. I think I'm going to go ahead and keep on this date. Reason being, will be a bunch more of you guys that can make it. If you think that's a bad idea post and say it. Otherwise I'm going to post the tournament rules and confirm the date

I am against going spring break. Too many people, less of a chance for a fun tournament, going to be a bunch of bait chunkers in red zones depleting the fish, that's just my opinion. I don't insist on there being a stocking date right before, but that's just me, I dont know how y'all feel about fishing before or after stocking. How about towards the end of March?

Your crazy nick! The end of march. All of the fish would be gone from the everyone there on spring break. Maybe not all of them but the majority of the stocked. In my opinion!

So, will any percentage of the entry fee's go back to the resource you are exploiting? Is it 100% payout or will you be profiting from the proceeds?
I'd be interested to hear exactly what you do as a guide as well to give back to a resource you earn a living from. I'm pretty sure you aren't involved with the LMFRF since you are going out of your way to promote an alternate event to their one-fly contest which does benefit the LMF

This thread is officially over. No reason to post on this one. Use the offical trout tourney thread to chat.
