I've reeled in some pretty big ones after 2am. I should have thrown them back in hindsight!

I caught a wallet on a crank bait on Pat Mayse lake in a cove. It had money, ID, etc in it. Turned it in to the Paris PD so they could get it back to the owner. Went back and fished that same area the next week and caught a jacket in the same spot. Quit fishing there, was afraid of what I might drag in next!,

I caught a bat fly fishing at night but in I'm Oklahoma. Size 10 black cone head marabou muddler. I was just starting to bring my back cast forward with about 40 ft of line out, when it snagged on something and my line fell to the water. I figured I had snagged a tree limb or something. I felt something on the line as I stripped my bait in closer but I figured a leaf or something. I got it in close, flipped on the light and "oh shet, look at this". Luckily my buddy had some forceps and shook the hook free. The bat just fell in the water and began floating off down river. I don't know if he made it or not.
By far, my wildest catch.
Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

I once caught a bluegill with a snelled hook in its mouth. My hook had gone through the loop in the leader that was tied to the hook. In 30 feet of water. Also a clam as big as your fist closed up on my cut shad bait.

I've reeled in some pretty big ones after 2am. 38lb common on a weightless fluke and an old beer can.

Nothing too weird for me so far -- but just this past weekend out on Lake Travis I snared some cut fishing line, and when I pulled it up there was a crankbait attached. This happened TWICE on the same day...about an hour apart.

Weirdest thing I ever caught was a 12' long 2x6 on lake Travis. It was water logged and I snagged a small cut near the middle of the board. One end was cut at an angle and it was slightly bowed the opposite way. The short of it was it swam circles around the boat while wobbling so it felt like a fish swimming. It took over 30 minutes to get it to the boat. The whole time we though it was a huge catfish.
I also caught 6 crank baits fishing on Falcon one trip. They were all in good shape. I gave them to my buddy and he's been catching fish with them ever sense.

I have not been bass fishing very long, started last May and of course I became hooked. One morning I was using a yellow magic popper and on a pause it went under like a bobber. Reeled it in and I had a small bluegill hooked on it. That's not the weird part though. He had the bottom treble hook all the way in his mouth somehow. Their mouths are tiny I have no idea how he managed that. I also hooked a catfish on a drop shot worm once. I have heard of people catching cats on bass lures before but I had never done it till then.

I've caught a freshwater mussel on Lake Wood, a turtle on the Guadalupe, a seagull in Matagorda and a silicone slip-in breast size enhancer for bathing suits on Lake Dunlap. It had barely any algae on it, had to be a fresh loss...
I still have it if it belongs to your wife, pm me... just kidding.

You fools can't even come close to this. Used Magnum rubber on a shad rap#9.
