I did a quick search and couldnt find this recently. Love hearing the stories of stuff people have caught. Personally, Ive caught old cans and some shoes but never anything truly weird.

Jigging a Little George(tail spinner) I caught a freshwater muscle. The weird part was the entire treble hook was inside the shell. (plus a couple snakes, several bull frogs and a duck).

Almost like it was trying to eat it? Thats pretty odd.

I have had that happen a couple of times before.

The weirdest that I ever reeled in was a pair of boxers.

Throwing a DD22 I snagged a heavy tarp that looked like a cigar with duck tape holding it together. Didn't ask questions, I just cut the lure and down she sank..........just kidding!!!! I always tell myself when I'm snagged on something and it starts to come up slowly, I hope it's not a dead body!! On a serious note, I caught a pelican once fishing for barricuda in California. The boat hand just grabbed him by bill and pulled the hook out. It was pretty crazy!

A open table umbrella. When it started rolling down hill I thought it was a big one.

8" fresh water clam out of Lake Dunlap. It literally chomped my squarebill.
Catch and release. I wonder how much bigger it will get?
