[quote=Steve_C]Hi,
I just started to tie my own jigs two weeks ago and this is what I made so far. Do you think they will work?
Nice start there. As mentioned you will get better as you go so welcome to jig tying. These guys here are very good at jigs and are more than willing to help you if you have questions. I only wished I was as good as some of these guys are. Keep tying and catching crappie!!!

They look good. I am a beginner also and am listening to all of the tying ho's and learning...
Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.

Side note: do you enjoy it more than you thought? Are you spending more money than you thought you would? We do, and so far I have $250 in it. That started off with a $25 vise set! LOL Thank God my wife don't know!

No joke! I bet with materials, pouring equipment, 5 molds, 30 lbs of powder paint, eyes and a Peak vise, I bet I'm up around, probably over $1000. Thank God the wife doesn't know! HERE NOW!!!! Wives read this too ...... now both of you go edit your post and move the decibel mark two spaces to the left before you get me us in trouble.
