My fishing partner killed a guy that shot him, but he was on duty at the time so he got away with it. Also, he says that buckshot burns like a $&@";) ?!$)(" when it goes through your shoulder. I've heard the same thing regarding how bad it burns. Just think about how hot a gun barrel gets while you shoot...you know that bullet has to be hotter than hell......

I coached with a guy that killed his 8 month pregnant wife. I was coaching at Alief Hastings HS. She was a teacher in Katy. There was a book written about the murder. Some say he didn't kill her but he's in prison now. His name is David Temple if you would like to google the story. I played football against him in college and in HS. My wife and her family new David's family growing up. That was crazy.

I knew a guy in High school that ended up robbing and murdering a guy after he left the casino. He was always shady!

My birth father / genetic donor. Tried to cut somebody's head off with a pocket knife.
That's about all I know. I think I remember meeting him once but not certain. Met my birth mother and she's one of the most worthless people I've ever had the dubious pleasure of seeing.

I had the displeasure of being shot with a 22 back on January 31st, 1980. In a fraction of a second I felt an intense "pressure" followed immediately by what felt like an extremely hot ice pic. I was very lucky it was not a hollow point and/or a larger caliber. The scum must have just used whatever ammo was in the gun when he stole it from where ever he did. Not fun.

I thought this thread was surreal, but after thinking about it I realized I know several too. At least two guys from my high school killed people. Unfortunately I guess murder is so common that a lot of people are directly or indirectly connected to killers. Pretty freakin' sad.

I went to HS with a guy that was really a mean guy. He cut the throat of the wife of the local grain storage place in Whitewright. Then I come to Crandall to find out that Charles Albright AKA, "The Eyeball Killer" forged documents and was teaching here in Crandall where I have been working for 31 years. Here is some links to him. Some don't mention the school was Crandall. Our HS newspaper did an investigative story on him and actually uncovered some new stuff on him. One of my student's dad was the detective on the case that caught him. Some believe he may have also been the Zodiac killer in California. Since he had been out there also during that time frame. Notes from the Zodiac killer stated he won't to blow a school bus up full of kids. Albright was driving a bus also here in Crandall at the time he was here. I am friends with some of his students. Many were scared to go record to say anything about him. They were scared of him. While he was here. The daughter of the Kaufman ISD superintendent was killed after she left a party during that time frame. Had a pastor that killed his wife and the Church's secretary's husband. They made a movie out or the story: Murder Ordained I knew a preacher and his family as a kid in the Tenaha area, the preacher beat his wife apparently quite a few times pretty bad, screwed around on her, etc etc and his son who was a few years older than me at the time had enough and put 2 12 gauge slugs into dear old dad. I had a kid work for me while I was in the Corps who was a mega cokehead and popped and got the boot. Couple of months later he tried to rob a bank, killed a tell and the cops killed him. Had a Sgt I was in a unit with for 3 years come unhinged in base housing and make a canoe out of his wifes head before suck starting a 12 gauge in the shower after a bottle of wild turkey. Best one I never got to meet was my grandad. back in the 50's he found out his son in law was a perv and peeping tom on his own kids, took a hammer to him and ended that rather abruptly. Unfortunately he fell over dead from a heart attack about 5 minutes later. I've got more, just don't feel like typing them all. you are a good writer "Suck starting a 12 gauge"

I've known 2.
One was a decent friend in school and lived down the street. At around 24 he killed a guy with a hammer over something meth related. The other I'd met, and not really hung out with. He killed a classmate over his girlfriend, who was in my class. He was an all state running back when he did it too. Ruined his life.
update: the guy that killed my neighbor with a hammer was released about 2 months ago. Spent about 18 years in slammer.
