I can think of about 5 right off the top of my head. I wasn't real close to any of 'em. The common denominator in all but 1 is drugs. The one not drug related was over a woman.

Knew a guy who moved into a house a block from me about 3 years ago. Seemed nice, had 3 kids and a wife. Found out his wife was pregnant from another man. Shot her with a revolver six times in the stomach and tried to run with the kids. Cops got him and he showed no remorse whatsoever.

My cousin killed four people in one night. He tried to kill two others but they survived. He planed on killing some more but the cop caught up to him first. He was a Satanist.

William J. Amis, Jr. Weird deal and conviction. Legally blind but convicted of a death that happened several years after the incident. Used to work with him on his father's trust matters.

for you Okies that remember, my dad worked with Gene Leroy Hart. he raped and killed 3 girlscouts at camp in 77. he was still loose in the woods when we went to church camp. my sister used to go to the girlscout camp. scary times for sure.

I have a good friend who was in the boy scout troop with the BTK guy. He never knew it. Played at his house and everything. Really scary to think about.

I am pretty sure my grandfather killed a time or two. The story always ended with not knowing whether or not they died or not. I now he had to go several states away at times.

My fishing partner killed a guy that shot him, but he was on duty at the time so he got away with it. Also, he says that buckshot burns like a $&@";) ?!$)(" when it goes through your shoulder.

I knew a preacher and his family as a kid in the Tenaha area, the preacher beat his wife apparently quite a few times pretty bad, screwed around on her, etc etc and his son who was a few years older than me at the time had enough and put 2 12 gauge slugs into dear old dad.

I had a kid work for me while I was in the Corps who was a mega cokehead and popped and got the boot. Couple of months later he tried to rob a bank, killed a tell and the cops killed him.

Had a Sgt I was in a unit with for 3 years come unhinged in base housing and make a canoe out of his wifes head before suck starting a 12 gauge in the shower after a bottle of wild turkey.

Best one I never got to meet was my grandad. back in the 50's he found out his son in law was a perv and peeping tom on his own kids, took a hammer to him and ended that rather abruptly. Unfortunately he fell over dead from a heart attack about 5 minutes later.
