Throw a small torpedo early mornings and see what happens. You never know what might hit it!

BTW, I know!

I fished the entire lake. Walked and fished my way all around it, including the creek above Lemmon, where the water was crystal clear(before the rains, LOL). Small fish EVERYWHERE. Square bill if it runs deep, you stand a good chance of losing it. Then when it floats up a few days later, someone like me will have something to fish out and add to my tacklebox.

Didn't fish the airport side and didn't catch anything. Didn't have anything small enough. Definitely a lot of activity with bait though.

The front blew in around 8:45 Saturday morning and the fishing was great before the winds changed direction. Caught 3 nice chunks that went around 18 inches each and lots of 12inch bass. Rained that night pretty hard in the area.

Sunday morning went back to the same area, lots of smaller bass were biting. Steam coming off the water until sun came up and little wind.

Bachman is starting to heat up!!!! So get off your butts and go catch you some!!!

It's a small lake with lots of places to park. The fish are everywhere!!! Get out and find you a spot.

Threw everything I had today at Bachman...nada, zilch, zero. Even the turtles looked at me like I was crazy.

that makes me feel better I threw a square bill and a tiny a bomber about 1/2 inch thinking they would eat that up but nothing. I work nearby also so gonna give this another chance. I was on the airport side. the other side of the lake looks a little shady as far as weird people just sitting in their cars doin deals and what not. guess i'll try the row club part and creek next time...I was on the back end.

Thanks Rudy for all the knowledge. I think you'll be seeing me a bit more often in your neck of the woods!

Rudy what do you think the weather for this weekend will do to the bass out there? Got a charity "toys for tots" tournament out there on Sunday and the forecast looks brutal.

6 hours on Bachman today in bass buster. Nada, nothing, zilch! Not a nibble. I'm thinking barometer funk.

That front may shut em down but they will bounce back. Today as well as yesterday may have been classic "bluebird" days.
