Brandy Branch is very clear. Can see hydrilla down maybe 15 feet with the right sun angle.

Perky. But only catch and release lake, covered in hydrilla

Cast it, reel it, jerk it.

Pk in the winter was real clear until the alga bloom around 12 years ago. Now it clears up in winter ( less boat traffic )but not like it was years ago.I agree that Amistad and Alan Henry are the clearest.

Sight fishing on Alan Henry in 18-20' of water. You can see a white DD22 at it maximum depth, that and Amistad are two of the cleearer lakes in Texas. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Ive was very clear, but I haven't been out there since the latest drought. One day the water looked as blue as the Caribbean.
