And you can weigh in 5. One lucky big bite is hard to overcome with only 3 fish.

I have fished their events since they started. They are a no BS organization and offer the best tournament experience of any trail in Texas at present.

Kudos to your philosophy of fishing against the best...This is why we've fished champs since 04. Fishing the South pits you against some of the best "big fish" hunters there are on a consistent basis and in my book there is no better way to guage skill. At the end of the day I have no issue if I get bested by the likes of a Terry Oldham...
As far as a circuit and how it's ran it's top notch and is because of the people running it.

Draw more entries from the teams that cant catch 5 on a consistent basis.

Why is it lucky to get a big bite?

Champs has the best sponsors in the business, they always add more value to paybacks (always over 100%), run events better than anyone, post results faster than anyone, and distributes checks faster than anyone.

And they care for the fish like they are their children. They spend a ton of money on fish care.

If you haven't experienced one of their events, I recommend you give them a try.

Champs runs a great trail. There are many tournament options in North Texas with multiple price ranges and rules.

You want be disappointed with Champs

I seriously doubt the majority of the people who fish champs fish it because they cant catch 5. Maybe the ones that cry about it have a problem catching three bigger than the rest.
