Who fishes Bass Champs? We are looking for a new trail with higher entries and payout. Tired of fishing for three checks and not having any shot at recovering any of our expenses.

Looks like Champs has a good draw in the North Division and that's what we are thinking about fishing.

Some good feedback would be appreciated.

I've only fished with them in the Skeeter Owner's events. Chad, Jeff and crew run one of the most professional events out there.

Their trails have some pretty stiff competition. Lots of Texas' best sticks fish them.

BassChamps is a great trail with good payouts, but like Fouz said you really need to put in time on the water to be able to really compete to make a check. Lots of great fisherman fish champs.

Good sticks don't bother me. Fishing against people better than you just make you better with time. I'll still fish some of the other trails too, but just looking for something with higher draws. I think most the guys that I use to fish against have migrated to Champs anyway. Just have lost touch with some of them.

You only have to catch 3 fish!

When you find that let us all know!

Three good ones.. I've only had positive feedback on Champs. I wasn't looking to stir the pot, but wanted to know if people that do fish it are generally happy with the way it's run. I know Chad is a class act.

Champs is a good trail. Chad and his staff are some of the best around. Texas Team Trail is a choice along with Platinum Team Trail. I have fished BC & TTT. I would say Champs is the leader of the pack.

You will never hear anything bad about Bass Champs other than opinions about some changes they've made. Every tournament they run is very professional and efficient.

Champs is the only trail I fish outside of some big bass events and one small Media tourney my wife and I fish on Cypress each year and I wouldn't fish anything else in their place. Very well run events and if I am going to take the time to fish a circuit I would always prefer to fish for $15K or a new truck worth $20K+ than fish for $2500 like most of the smaller trails. Like others said, competition is very stout with lots of guys that are experts on the lakes we fish, but it's still the only thing I would fish full time.

I'm not trying to hijack this post, but why did bass champs change the limit to 3 fish?

Probably to save some fish.. Tournaments seem to be really hard on bass kept in the live well all day..

Champs is a great trail

Well run
Good group of guys
Great payouts
Good lakes
Great championship

You can't ask for more... Even tho most whiners on here do.

You should do it, it is a good circuit, one of the best out there.

Chad, Jeff and their personnel are very good at what they do. Great for the sport of bass fishing and tournament competition.
