in bays, or saltwater mouths, they stay in moving water and wait for fish to swim by,

They have started feeding up for thier migration. I've caught more flounder in the last few weeks then I've caught this season. The movement usally starts after the first few cold fronts when the water temps. start to drop.

Next to the shore off the flats. Remember that in November the regs change.

Good luck!

Late Oct - end of Nov. here in the Rockport - Coastal Bend area.

They are staging in the back bays around here right now and getting ready to make their move to the Gulf.

Well the flounder run is in full swing. Didn't limit out today, but several others did. Caught 5 14"+ out of sea wolf. Numerous non-keepers, and a couple bigguns got away. So grab your poles and get some bait wet, the flounder are running!

Anywhere by the old Coast Guard station. Watch the rip currents. Active statement out now.

...was coming in the other day from Offshore and had a guy lift his stringer to show me a true big girl saddle blanket. He was at the Coast Guard base fishing off the docks.

...so good it tastes like it died screaming!
