in bays, or saltwater mouths, they stay in moving water and wait for fish to swim by,

They have started feeding up for thier migration. I've caught more flounder in the last few weeks then I've caught this season. The movement usally starts after the first few cold fronts when the water temps. start to drop.

its already started!!!, as soon as temp drops they are full on, oct-dec is on!!!!, remeber nov season is different than any other time of the year,

Next to the shore off the flats. Remember that in November the regs change.

Late Oct - end of Nov. here in the Rockport - Coastal Bend area.
They are staging in the back bays around here right now and getting ready to make their move to the Gulf.

Well the flounder run is in full swing. Didn't limit out today, but several others did. Caught 5 14"+ out of sea wolf. Numerous non-keepers, and a couple bigguns got away. So grab your poles and get some bait wet, the flounder are running!
