Does anyone have any reports on Dunlap I would like to go out there soon and I haven't been to Dunlap since May? Has most of the boat traffic died down and has the cooler weather helped the fishing? If so what has been working for y'all? Thanks for any replies!

I have been fishing shallow with modest results. Rattle traps and square bills. Also had some success with t-rig in cover. I'm fishing Sunday morning right after the front moves through so it will be interesting.

Thinking of fishing Dunlap Monday the 14th any help would be appreciated. Havent fished there in years. What ramp is best if I am fishing alone. 225 skeeter. Thanks

I like the shulmans ramp it has a nice dock to tie off to, I am thinking of going today or sunday morning

I went yesterday(10/11) caught 5 total, 3 flipping a trick worm near docks, natual banks and stumps, had a few bites but didnt hook up. I caught two on a wieghtless tube over grass. I missed a few on a hollow bodied frog in the pads, I launched at 415 and off the water just after dark, I didnt get a bite from 30 mins before dark until I left. Nothing beats spending time with your kids outdoors

Launched right before the storms. Fished right through them. Didn't get bit until after the rain stopped. Caught quite a few fish on rattle traps.
It wasn't the best fishing. I'm sure this coming weekend will be good.

Going to be in the area with a kayak this weekend. You still able to put in under I-35? If not where is an alternate ramp. Was hoping to put in under the bridge and work my way up towards the dam.

if I had a yak I would try above the dam, or down river until the river makes a hard right turn by the hotel
