River2Sea makes a pop-r type bait that works almost as good as the yellow magic. It could have been white bass....I had the same thing happen to me the other day on Amistad. I couldn't pick up anything until I slow rolled a spinnerbait through them and it turned out to be a bunch of white bass

sometimes the key can be downsizing to match the bait if there is lots of small bait around. rapala original floater or really small spinnerbait of some type might be the deal there. if it's full grown shad like it should be this time of year, then spook should do.

Tiny torpedo, clear or frog, fish it fast kill it beside any size cover at the surface. Rip it through the cast and when you kill be patient.

Had the same thing happen the other day. I downed sized to a 1/4 oz. Jig with a small grub and started catching them. They were chasing small fry.

BASS Pro has the Yellow magic, or at least the one in Katy does. They might have been sold out.

I'd throw a walking type bait on Fayette. Zara Spook or an XPS walker.

I would throw weightless fluke also. Don't feel bad, I have been on Fayette many mornings and had them blowing up, sounding like a war zone and can't get them to bite!!
