It's early morning, sun is just rising. You're in about 10 ft of water and bass are blowing up, randomly, all around you one after another..not necessarily schooling, I guess just feeding. Water is 84ish*, the time of year is today.
What would you throw out there?

I threw a pop r and got nothing. I've read comments about yellow magic and was going to get one the other day at BPS but I dont think they carry it in stores because I couldn't find it.
I have an A Rig too but just didnt feel like digging all that stuff out. LOL

You sure it wasn't gar? Not being a smart a**, but I've chased busting gar several times early before I could see them real well.

Fayette You sure it wasn't gar? Not being a smart a**, but I've chased busting gar several times early before I could see them real well. It could've been. If I had enough confidence to know I was throwing the right thing then I could've moved on and written them off as gar. Instead I jacked around for 30 minutes with them.

I know the feeling. I've wasted a lot of tournament time before.

Fayette is where I have caught them suspended over deep water with that weightless fluke.
