When I first started, a good day was just being out there. Then it evolved to a point that I was miserable if I wasn't catching them. Having to train myself to just enjoy the chance of being out there and treat catching as a bonus.

I just enjoy the opportunity to fish. Don't know how many times I have watched the wildlife on the banks or the birds that fish in the waters with me. I have seen some pretty incredible things. Things like that make it a great day. I also enjoy the challenge of figuring the bass out. I like our club because we fish different places that make me have to think and learn new things. Fishing is for me a priviledge to be enjoyed anytime i can.

A few years ago a good day was 40lbs, average was 30lbs, great was 45lbs. 30lbs is an accomplishment these days...

A good day to me is any day I wake up with out pennies on my eyes and I can launch the boat and go fishing, catching is a plus.

Depends on the lake I'm at. Most of the lakes around DFW I'd say a 15+lb bag is good. Typically If I hit one of my better lakes ill be dissipointed without a 6+lb bass and a 20lb bag

For me, any day on the water with safe return is a good day on the water.
Even just one fish is a bonus.
No mechanical failures is a bonus.
Just BEing on the water is such a blessing. Any time what I thought would work actually DID.

I do like to catch em, but if I'm fishing rather than working I'm in heaven. :-) I agree that good is relative to the lake and I have different expectations for each lake I go to.

If I average catching 1 per hour thats a good day. If I catch 1 kicker fish 3 or 4 lbs its a great day!
