Nice grab bag and... Wow a five footer! That's a very strong fish! Jamie you are certifiable for holding that thing up for a pic! Always amazed at your catches but never surprised...  Yeah, it's always risky handling them. Most of the time I cut cut up pretty good. Not only from their teeth, but the gill covers are sharp as razors, and the back edges of the scales are also sharp.

Wow Lusca, that is a behemoth of a longnose gar man!! Insane! I know how that ~52"er I caught fought, I can't imagine that beast. It's thicker than mine was too by far. Well done brother!
