It was brutally hot and the river was very low, but I caught some nice fish yesterday. Somewhat slow for bass, but I caught a few up to 19". The cats were biting well, however. Several channel cats up to 26" and a couple blues up to 23". A couple nice drum up to 25", a buffalo that was 36" with a 26" girth, and several longnose gar with a new personal best for me at 60.5" with a 21" girth. I had a bald eagle fly by twice, but I wasn't quick enough with my camera. I did get a couple pics of a flock of turkey hens and their young of the year. I saw them actually walk across a shallow riffle of the river!

And this is why...i cant freaking beat you at kayak wars...Hell of a job brotha..that buffalo was huge!
