There are plenty of yaks that can handle a big guy. Take my Malibu Mini-X ...it is only 9 1/2 feet long and has a weight capacity of 325. I am not saying this is what you should buy. You should try some out, decide what you want from your yak then buy.

I'm about 280. I just bought my first kayak. It's a used Malibu x-13. I got a really good deal on it from a guy at tkf. It is probably not the best big boy yak, but after putting in scupper plugs, it is working out great for me. I am planning on saving up over the next year, and trying to buy a new Malibu x-factor.

275lbs and I've paddled in quite a few different kayaks. The difference is whether you glide gracefully on top of the water or plow through like a barge. Some hold us up better than others. Usually the ones with more $$$.

The most affordable highest weight capacity kayak I found was the Lifetime Manta 10 foot tandem kayak. Weight capacity 500lbs. It's heavy and slow, but very stable. Happy with mine. lifetime manta kayak

I'm not sure where you are located, or what your budget is, but I know someone in Ft Worth with a 2012 WS Ride 135 Angler Edition, with rudder and I think they are selling it for $800. Good big boy yak!
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing
