What to bring: Yourself, your kayak if you have one, family, friends, those interested in joining this sport, lawn chairs, and be ready to have a fun time. We'll have music, food, drinks, and a participation drawing for tremendous prizes!

Taught by ACA Certified Instructor Shaun Russell of Mariner Sails
Covering correct sitting position, proper form, and different strokes

Kayak Safety
Lead by Jason Young of Kayak Instruct
Covering how to properly select and fit a PFD, required safety devices, and more

Deep Water Re-Entry
Demonstrated by Mountain Sports
Covering the various ways on how to get back in once you turtle.

Intro to Saltwater Fishing
Lead by Josh Neumeyer
Covering tides, currents, and productive lures.

Hands on Kayak Rigging
Demonstrated by Joe King of Fun-n-Sun Boat Sales
How to install an anchor trolley.

Basics of Fly Fishing
Taught by FFF Member Jerry Hamon of Mariner Sails
Covering technique to fly selections.

Skills Challenges:
Flipping and Pitching from a kayak
Test your skills on the challenging setup to see who's who.

Deep Water Re-Entry
Let's see who's the quickest to get back in after turtling. It's just for fun today, but it's a necessary skill that could save your life in the future.


Bass Ackwards Regatta
Who's the quickest slalom paddler we got? Only trick you've got to do it backwards!


Kids' Games
Bring the kiddos as we'll have plenty to keep them entertained as well!

Come on out to test paddle the latest fishing kayaks from our wonderful sponsors! Those interested in becoming a kayak angler need to plan on attending this date.

You will be the first to fall to my expert bass akwards paddling.

Y'all boys have fun, wish I could be there but that is opening day of bow season, I've got a deer stand with my name on it.heard there's a pkaa tournament that day too, aren't Y'all worried that it may be a thin crowd?

There was a tourney last time too. It was the biggest ever. G2g's are awesome.

Plan to be there at least for a little bit!!!

Even cooler idea, paddle backwards to a marker and then do a 180 turn to finish.

Its all about priorities..

The PKAA is an invitational so it won't take too many away from the g2g. I will be fishing the tournament but I'm sure the crowd at the g2g will be as strong as ever. Hope y'all have a great time!
